The Club will conform to W.D.U.A.A. regulations with the following additions.
In the case of non-WDUAA venues, fishery rules must also be strictly observed.

Any member discovered not observing any of the following regulations will be disqualified from the relevant contest and subject to disciplinary action from the club. The decision of the committee is final and if required, the Chairman will undertake the casting vote.
If the offence causes loss of water, the member will be expelled from the club and reported directly to the Executive Committee of the W.D.U.A.A. to be subject to the association disciplinary procedures.

The club will hold an Annual General Meeting to be attended by all members unless an apology is received prior to the event. The meeting will be utilised for the following:

Discuss and comment on matters arising from previous minutes.
 Present the Financial Officers’ report.
 Present and discuss forthcoming fixtures.
Present trophies to the respective winners.
Elect the officers of the society.

Discuss and comment on any other business with consequent voting if required.

Non-attendance will deny the opportunity for members to contest and vote on all matters arising.

1. All anglers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency licence.
2. Under no circumstances may another angler or person assist a   competitor to physically fish. The angler is specifically required to land his or her own fish.
2. Under no circumstances may an angler leave unattended a baited hook in or out of the water. If a peg is vacated for any reason, bait must be removed from the hook.
3. Anglers are permitted to use more than one rod at a time ONLY on river matches. Only single hooks are permitted.
4. An angler may not use artificial lures, spinners, plugs, flies, and live or dead baits to catch legal fish.
5. All fish are permitted to be weighed-in with the following exceptions.

 a. Pike
             b. Zander

Note: Pike or Zander may be fished-for and removed from anglers pegs’ by any method but will not be classed as legal catch and
therefore are not eligible to be weighed-in.                                                                                                                                           Dead fish are permitted if caught on rod and line when alive.
6. Contestants will draw their pegs prior to the contest. These pegs will      be clearly in place and must not be moved from where positioned for the duration of the contest. Contestants must fish in a direct line from the peg to the water. If for whatever reason re-positioning of the peg is required, permission must be obtained from the angler who is subject to the encroachment. If the peg is considered unfishable for safety or other reasons, the angler must inform a member of the committee who will decide if the complaint is justified. The committee member will then liaise with a further club official and a decision will be made to move the peg or re-peg the angler. If a decision cannot be reached, the Chairman will make the final decision.
7. Contestants may only wade up to knee level away from the bank. Wading above this level is permitted if the angler is in touching distance of the bank.

13.  At the end of the competition, fishing must immediately cease. A period of thirty minutes is permitted after the completion of the competition to land a previously hooked fish.
14.  Any fish exhibiting signs of distress must be weighed and returned to the water as soon as possible.
15.  The competition duration will be decided by vote prior to the start of proceedings. This cannot be changed unless a unanimous decision is reached due to exceptional circumstances.
16.  An angler’s peg on running water is level with the angler to just above the downstream angler. On still water, a peg is classified as half way between oneself and the adjacent pegs. Should encroachment be in evidence, this should be reported to the Secretary \ Chairman.
17.  All bait bans for each individual venue must be observed. Violation of bait bans will result in disqualification from the competition. Further action will be the decision of the standing committee.
